I've owned the Blue Air 501 for 3 years and am totally pleased. I've tried others and I know that some are not worth trying (even though they are highly advertised and purchased). It's quiet and very effective.

Actually, I purchased the Blueair 501 series filter (regular, not smoke). I've been using this filter for years, works really well. This particular purchase (merchant via Amazon) went smoothly and well.
Only complaint is that they put a box inside a box to ship. What a waste of resources and money!
